Son of Homer and Nellie Rice Arnold.
Survived by 8 nieces and 4 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Frances Willis, Pearl Lewellen, Everett Arnold, Betty Cronk and David Arnold, several step-brothers and step-sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Served in the US Army during World War II, where he was injured and received the Purple Heart.
Worked as a state forestry firefighter in California for 41 years, and worked part-time as an electrician for many years.
Member of Disabled American Veterans, Indianapolis.
Service 1pm Wednesday, February 11 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Ladoga with Pastor Shannon Ivers officiating. Visitation 11am until time of service. Military honors by US Army and Post 72 VFW Honor Guard.
Memorial donations to Old Normal College, Ladoga.
