Barbara "Bobbie" L. Brooks, 62, of Anderson, passed away on August 22, 2014 at the Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN, due to complications of a brain aneurysm. She was born on December 24, 1951 in Bluffton, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Barbara "Bobbie" graduated from Anderson High School, Class of 1970, and Indiana University.
She is a retired Dental Assistant.
She was a member of the Eastside Chuch of God in Anderson.
Barbara "Bobbie" is survived by her loving spouse whom she married October 31, 1970, Lonnie Brooks, of Anderson, IN; two sons, Christopher L. (Patricia "Tricia") Brooks and Patrick R.. (Elizabeth "Libby") Brooks; grandchildren, Kylie Brooks, Dean Patrick Brooks and Bobby Lee Rye; her mother, Loretta Trotter; sister, Janet Granger; and a nephew, Michael Myers. She is also survived by her two best friends, Sue Hughes and Debbie Bolander.
She was preceded in death by father, Robert Trotter; and a sister, Patricia Meyers; and a nephew, Matthew Myers.
The family has chosen cremation.
Services have been entrusted to the Robert Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013.
