Delma Laverne Besley, age 78, of Jacksonville, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at home.
She was born Oct. 5, 1935, in La Camp, La., to Effie (Winegart) and Elmer A. Chevalier.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. Besley Jr.; and son, Robert Alan Besley.
She is survived by her daughter, Sicily "Sissy" Ann Besley of Jacksonville; one son, James D. "Jimmy" (Krista) Besley and their six children (Carolyn, Jehu, Anna, Silas, Lydia, and Norah) of Wooster, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
