Alma Hall DeHaven, 92, of Roanoke, died Friday, November 21, 2008. Alma attended Ghent Grace Brethren Church and was preceded in death by her husband, W. Bryan DeHaven. Surviving is her son, Douglas L. Flynn, Jr. and wife, Marlene of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Michaele McGeath and husband, Trace of Roanoke, Douglas L. Flynn, III and wife, Karena of Libertytown, Md., Anna Haymaker and husband, William of Salem; thirteen greatgrandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Zach Doppelt officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Ghent Grace Brethren Church, 1511 Maiden Lane SW, Roanoke, Va., 24015. The family will receive friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, 540-982-2100.
