Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Waters will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at the funeral home.
Mr. Harris was born in Hall County to the late Ernest Harris and Ellen (Sorrows) Harris. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Mr. Harris is survived by his brothers, Ray Harris, Dahlonega, James Harris, Gainesville and Russell Harris, Oakwood; uncle and guardian, the Rev. Edmond Harris, Gainesville; aunt, Lillie Mae Harris, Flowery Branch; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
