Mrs. Brown worked at Bennett Industries in Peotone. She was born Aug. 9, 1930, in Logansport, Ind., the daughter of Thomas and Helena Taylor Flowers.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene D. Brown Sr., of Kankakee; one daughter, Eugenia Dickens, of Kankakee; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and two aunts, Mae Curry, of Bloomfield, Mich., and Eva Staples, of Kankakee.
She was preceded in death by one son, Allen Brown; her parents; two sisters, Marilyn Hairston and Barbara Thornston; and two brothers, Thomas Flowers Jr. and Bobby Flowers.
