Bea M. Bond, 75, of Poplarville, Misissippi passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in the care of her family.
Anative of Maryland, Ms. Bond was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. She was a member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church; served as cook for the Pearl River Baptist Association during many mission trips stateside and abroad; and was an Election Commissioner with Pearl River County from November 1998 until December 2008.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Schuyler and Lilly Helferstay Marks.
Survivors include three sons, Brian (Andrea) Bond of Poplarville, MS, Kirk Bond of Biloxi, MS, and Lance Bond of Poplarville, MS; one daughter, Donna (Eddie) Chester of Lumberton, MS; one brother, Armond (Sue) Marks of Dacula, GA ; five grandchildren, Chris Bond, Rachel Bond, Jason Bond, Hollie Chester, and Nicholas Chester; and one niece, Linda (Jerry) Robbins.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Friday, April 12, 2013 at Juniper Grove Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, Friday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Deacons of Juniper Grove Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Pearl River Baptist Association Honduras Mission Ministry, PO Box 489, McNeill, MS 39457.
