Mrs. Mary Hughes Lincolnton, Ga. - Graveside services for Mrs. Mary R. Hughes, 83, of 1219 Lakeside Drive, Lincolnton, Georgia, who died at the residence April 8, 2001, will be conducted Wednesday Morning (i.e., April 11, 2001) at 11 o'clock in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Pierce Norman officiating.
Mrs. Hughes was a native of Memphis, Tennessee, a former resident of the North Augusta-Beech Island area, having made Lincolnton her home for the past 27 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Lincolnton Women's Methodist Guild.
Survivors include two sons, Robert K. Hughes, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Richard W. Hughes, Augusta; two sisters, Emily Jane Browning, Ecru, Miss., and Georgia Hollingsworth, Memphis, Tenn.; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., or at the residence of Mr. Richard W.Hughes, 2016 Autumn Chase, Augusta, Ga. Memorials may be made to the Lincoln County Library, P.O. Box 310, Lincolnton, Ga.
