Wayne Arthur McDANIEL was born on August 11, 1894, the 9th of 11 children of James Ashford & Emily Jane (BELL) McDANIEL, Jr. There were 8 boys and 3 girls. In addition to the memorials shown as links below for Wayne and 7 of his siblings, the 3 missing siblings are: Clare Conger McDANIEL (1879-1964), Mary Emily McDANIEL (1886-1969), and Prentice Ellis McDANIEL (1889-1968).

Wayne served as a Pharmacist's Mate Second Class (PHM2) in the U.S. Navy during World War I and was employed by the William S. Merrill Company as a Pharmaceutical Representative.

He was married to Zula May (KINNARD) MILLER McDANIEL from December 27, 1928, until his death on June 21, 1967. They resided in Memphis, Tennessee.

The gravestone photograph was taken on January 19, 2004 by his step-grandson James Gerald Miller.
