Ruth (Kurtz) Lardieri, 89, Valley View Home, passed away Saturday at the home.
She was born in Huntingdon, daughter of the late Victor and Deliah Kurtz. She married Herman Lardieri, and he died May 23, 1999.
Surviving are a son, Len of Beaverton, Ore.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Victor Kurtz of Huntingdon; as well as nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a graduate of Huntingdon High School and of nursing school. She retired from Altoona Hospital as a registered nurse. She was a member of Second Avenue United Methodist Church.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. A remembrance memorial will be planned at a later date.
In memory of Ruth, donations may be given to Second Avenue United Methodist Church, 130 Second Ave., Altoona, PA 16602.
