Rex was born on a farm, but became a lawyer in San Francisco, CA. He married Shirley Parker in St Louis, MO in May 1956 before moving to California. His wife and 3 children survive him. He enjoyed contract law best, sailing in his boat, visiting friends & loved reading, & telling lawyer jokes. The last decade Rex & Shirley moved back to St Joseph, MO where they remodeled & restored an older home, and Rex did pro bono work in law. He visited with his remaining brother Ed, and his family, and his brother-in-law Joe.
The cause of death was small cell lung cancer. He was cremated, and his ashes spread in the San Francisco Bay per his wishes.
