Elias Brown , son of Millard and Lucy, and his brother Mark, came with them. Apparently all moved to avoid the war.

and his wife's parents were both born in Virginia

BLM Records show that Elihu, Elias and Mark, all bought land in 1859 in Jones county,
between Eastside Drive and Hwy 29. This is a few miles West of Brown Cemetary and the Millard Watkins Brown Homestead. Mark also had 40 adjoining acres in Perry county.
Jones County Census in 1880 has Elihu still alive.
