A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Scott Walker Abel Sr., age 56, of Shelbyville, will be held 6:00p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Gray officiating, Per his request Mr. Abel will be cremated he passed from this life Saturday at St. Thomas Rutherford following a brief illness.

Visitation with the family will begin at 4:00p.m.

A native of Florida Mr. Abel was son of the late Erwin Walker Abel and Ann Lienhart Abel, he was owner operator of The Biscuit Wagon on Madison Street and was a veteran of the Army. Scott loved the water and outdoors, he will be missed by many.

Mr. Abel is survived by children; Scott Abel Jr., Marcus Abel, and Jarrod Abel of Florida, sister; Amy( Philip) Evans of Tullahoma, brother; Dennis (Peggy) Abel of Florida, nieces and nephews; Jackson Evans, Brittany, Courtney, Joshua Abel, and significant other and family; Christi Adcock, Lillya, and Jacob Adcock all of Bell Buckle.

In lew of flowers family ask for donations to help with funeral expenses, funds set up at Doak-Howell Funeral Home, Go Fund Me Scott Abel Memorial.
