FRED DAIL ADAMSON (January 1896 - October 17, 1955)
Fred Dail Adamson died in Los Gatos, California, on October 17, 1955.
He was born January 1896 in Fulton Township, Webster County, Iowa, one of six (6) children of Levina Ellen (Bennett) and Ellis Nathan Adamson. He was a grandson of Nathan and Amy Jane (Stanley) Adamson. In approximately 1901 he moved with his parents to rural Franklin Co., Kansas where he was reared on the family farm five (5) miles northwest of Ottawa, Kansas.
He married Goldie Pearl Wollam of Ottawa, and they had one child, Betty JeanTaylor, who died of polio at Las Angeles County Hospital, Los Angeles, California on October 29, 1953. She is buried in Oakdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendora (Los Angeles Co.), California. She was survived by her husband, Paul Taylor, and their two small children, Paul Dail Taylor, four-years-old, and Pearl Jean Taylor (born March 23, 1953 in Los Angeles), approximately seven-months-old. Paul Taylor died February 9, 2007 in Greenup County, Kentucky.
Goldie Pearl (Wollam) Adamson died on May 30, 1956 in Kansas City. She was 58-years-old. She is buried in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kansas.
Fred Dail Adamson is buried in an unmarked grave in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, Santa Clara, California in block 9N.A.#1, lot I, space #4.
As life has its own way, it's of interest to note that the immediate family of Fred andGoldie and their daughter came to an end all within a span of close to two and one-half years; they are all buried in very much different locations. Might they rest forever in life's memories and in peace. Every life has value.
