Adkins, Marcia (nee Bernitt), 76, of Dayton, Ky, passed away on November 4, 2011 at St Elizabeth Medical Center, Ft Thomas. She was a secretary with DuBois Chemical Co, Cincinnati. Mrs Adkins was a lector & eucharistic minister of St Catherine of Siena Church in Ft Thomas & a member of the Newport Elks Lodge #273 & the Elks Lodge Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Adkins of Dayton, Ky, sister, Gail Goodwin of Kansas City, Mo, & brother, Dan Bernitt of State College, Pa. Mrs Adkins is also survived by several neices & nephews.
Visitation will be at 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Ft Thomas Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 11:00 am at the St Catherine of Siena Church, Ft Thomas, Ky. Entombment will take place in the St Stephen Cemetery, Ft Thomas. Memorials are suggested to the St Catherine of Siena Parrish, 1803 N Ft Thomas Ave, Ft Thomas, Ky 41075.
