NOTE: This researcher saw the many old unmarked graves in the Antioch Cemetery, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, where the brothers, parents and other relatives of Sanford Cockrell are buried according to descendants in the area. They believed Sanford Cockrell was buried there also and gave the date of death as 1866. However, recent information reveals Sanford was enumerated fourteen years later in the 1880 Census of Delta County, Texas. Sanford was missing in this household in 1900. Lydia A. was a widow in the household of a son in the 1910 and 1920 Census, Delta County, Texas. TEXAS DEATH RECORD - Sims, Lydia A. died May 10, 1920 in Delta County.
