Angelis, Therese Marie, 81, of Mashpee, passed on September 3, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Therese, affectionately known as Reesie, was born to the late Edward and Theresa Donohoe of Dorchester, MA on April 6, 1932. She attended Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Brighton and Chandler Secretarial School in Boston. Reesie met and married the late Frank Angelis with whom she shared 54 happy years. Reesie was the loving mother of 6 children: son James Angelis and his wife Theresa, son Stephen Angelis and his wife Karen, daughter Carole Mastendino and her husband Jeffery, son Bruce Angelis and his wife Dina Beth, daughter Kristen Monahan and her husband Philip, and son Frank David Angelis and his wife Debra. Reesie was also the proud grandmother of 16 wonderful grandchildren. After raising their family in Medfield, Frank and Reesie retired and made their home in New Seabury, where they enjoyed over 20 years with extended family, long-time friends and great new friends. In addition to her family, Reesie was involved in Christ the King parish, The Women's Club of New Seabury, The Red Hats, a wonderful bridge club, and many other activities that kept her busy. Anyone who met Reesie met a true angel of this earth, someone who never met a stranger and was the most kind-hearted, generous soul. Although we will all miss her tremendously, we know she is in a better place with the man she loved, and we will cherish the many wonderful years we had with her. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life beginning with visiting hours on Sunday, September 8th from 2-5PM in the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Avenue (Route 151), Mashpee, MA. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 9th at 11:00AM in Christ the King Church, 3 Jobs Fishing Rd, Mashpee. Burial be held on Tuesday in the VA National Cemetery in Bourne at 9:30AM. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to Catholic Charities, 686 North Main St., Brockton, MA 02301.
