Jan John Crey, also spelled Crey, Kray, etc was born in Kriegsheim in the German Palatinate and a Mennonite. He emigrated to Philadelphia in 1702 and was one of the original settlers of Skippack PA.
His wives were Helena Winnertzkamp by whom he had 4 children, Magdalena Haldeman (a known Swiss Mennonite family), and Sytge Van Bebber Op Den Graeff (also Updegrave) by whom he also had 4 children.
