FORNFELT BARBER DIES SUDDENLY AS HE STARTS FIRE

Fornfelt, Dec. 8 - Wm. Dorris, 55 years old, succumbed to a heart attack at 6:45 a.m. today at his home. He had been subject to such attacks for the last two years.
Dorris, who for 17 years had operated a barber shop in Illmo, worked Friday and did not complain Friday night of feeling badly. This morning he arose earlier than the rest of the family to build a fire and had it started when he collapsed. His wife, in the next room, heard the fall, but when she reached him he was dead.
Funeral services have not been arranged, pending the arrival of their five children, today.
Mr. Dorris was born in Bell City Sept. 13, 1879. He was married 35 years ago ot Miss Mary Congleston at Bell City and they lived there until they moved to Fornfelt 17 years ago.
Besides the widow, those who survive are, one son, Frank Dorris, of St. Louis; four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Preston of Sparta, Ill. Miss Mattie Dorris, Miss Clemmie Dorris and Mrs. Maurine Chostner, of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; 1 half brother, Henry Brantley, who lives in Arkansas, a cousin, Albert Sides, lives in Cape Girardeau.
