Member of Minnesota House of Representatives from Hennepin Co., 1870; member of the State Senate from Kandiyohi Co., 1874-86, except one term; lieut. governor of Minnesota, 1886-91; member Board of Regents, Minnesota State University; president Farmers Board of Institutes. Married at Willmar, Minn. 1877 to Miss Sophie L. Brattlund. Address: Willmar, Minn."
