Alexandris, John P Age 71, passed away June 16, 2013. John was born March 6, 1942 in Amelandes, Greece. He is preceded in death by his parents Perikles and Daphne Alexandris, his brothers Dimitri and Anestis Alexandris and brother in law Tasos Stamelou. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Vasiliki Alexandris, daughter Daphne Fox and husband John, daughter Teresa Chantilis and husband Angelo, daughter Chrisoula Kazanas and husband Jimmy, and by his son Perikles and wife Jamie. Loving grandfather to eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Thanasi, Andrew, Katherine, Angelo III, John Peter, Victoria, and Yianni, brother Christos and wife Valerie, sister in law Eleni of Dallas, brother Evangelos and wife Fani, sister Katina Stamelou, and sister in law Eleni of Greece, countless relatives including god-daughter Dafni Alexandri of Greece, and godsons Patrick Kotsopodis and Pete Dimou. John served in the Greek Army and then came to America in 1968 where he became an American citizen. He pursued the American dream and developed his own painting business, Alexandris Brothers Painting Contractors. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and a longtime volunteer at the Greek Food Festival where he was seen serving up Greek Coffee and pastries. He was a loving, caring, and thoughtful husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and grandfather who always had a smile on his face and was willing to help others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Trisagion (prayer service) will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 25. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 26 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 13555 Hillcrest Road. Interment will be held at the Christian Orthodox section, Restland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dimitri Alexandris, Peter Alexandris, Costa Alexandris, Patrick Kotsopodis, Pete Dimou, Mark Mavrikos and Nick Mavrikos.
