Ruby L. Gibson was born June 18, 1924, in Snowflake to Evan and Zella Larson. She grew up in Snowflake graduating from Snowflake High School in 1942. She was a war bride and traveled to Phoenix City, Alabama to marry her soldier sweetheart, Rex F. Gibson.

For 58 years, they shared a life filled with fun and adventure in Snowflake and on different high lomesome ranches in Arizona. They were blessed with four children Terry Reu of Colo., Jim Gibson and Diane of Taylor, Jean Simmons and Orren of Snowflake and Debbie Thatcher and Dennis of Gilbert. Their family grew by 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Ruby was a stalwart member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints and gave many hours of service in church callings.

She is survived by her four children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sister Minnie Eaves Arline.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rex; grandson Trent Gibson; son-in-law Leon Ru; parents, three brothers and two sisters. She was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
