Allan Barton Bingham was born on Sept. 30, 1881 in Union Township, Waupaca County, Wisconsin, the son of Henry and Mary Ella (Johnson) Bingham. The family relocated to Norrie Township in Marathon County in 1883, and moved to Crandon, Forest County, in 1898. Allie resided there until his death on Oct. 27, 1935. His death was due to stomach ulcers.

He was a carpenter and was working with a crew remodeling a building at the time of his death. He lived with his mother in the third ward of this city.

Survivors were his mother, three sisters, Mrs. George Sharp, Crandon; Mrs. Allen Boynton, Havre, Montana; and Mrs. Will Buchholz, Clintonville; and three brothers, Dewey of Laona, and Ray and Howard of Crandon.
