Alvin Tribble Evans married Bertha Payne in Clay County, Arkansas, on February 11, 1924.
They had four daughters:

Betty Marie MaClanahan (1928-before 2001)
Wanda June Mowery (1930-1997)
Shirley J. Travis (1936-before 2001)
Tribble and Bertha Evans were divorced after the last child was born, and she moved to Cape Girardeau with the children, living with her parents there.
Tribble married twice more:
Miss Vera Skaggs 20 March 1948 Clay AR
Mrs. Pearl Brimager 3 May 1950 Clay AR
Tribble lived by himself in Manila Arkansas and died at the Rodman Clinic in Leachville, Arkansas. He died the day after Christmas in 1970, and a service was held by the Rev. Eddie B. Roden of Kennett, MO, Tribble's nephew, with burial in Kennett MO beside his sister, Pearl Belle Pitts in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The grave site is not marked.
Tribble Evans was named after Joel Price Tribble, a prominent Kennett attorney and politician during the late 1800's.
