Angelica was born August 5, 1922 in San Antonio, Texas to Daniel Cisneros and Antonia Crisantes Cisneros. The family moved to Palacious where she spent her youth until she moved to Galveston at age 15. Angelica was in the restaurant business most of her life and was the owner and operator of several restaurants including, Mexico Lindo and the Jean Lafitte Restaurants. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Angelica lived in Galveston for most of her life and recently moved to Harlingen to be with her daughter after the great storm of 2008 where she was cared for by her family through her illness and until her death.
Angelica is preceded in death by her parents, also by Felipe B. Rodriguez, Sr., sons, Alfonso and Felipe, Jr., and a sister, Palmira. Survivors include daughters, Linda and husband John of San Antonio, Luisa and husband Moses of Harlingen; sons, Daniel, Joe and Gilbert of the Galveston-Hitchcock area, Tino and wife Diana of Galveston, and Albert and wife Dora of Hitchcock; sister, Excinia McDowell; brother, Daniel Cisneros; 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers are Moses Castillo, John Gutierrez, Tino Ybarra, Steven Ybarra, Orlando Rodriguez, Albert Rodriguez, Jr., Leon Thomason, Erik Thomason, and Johnny De La Rosa.
