Philip LaCrosse came from Montreal, Canada about 1870 or so and settled in Louisville. He died from a railroad accident. He was knocked off the train coming from Lexington to Louisville. He left behind his wife Gabrielle, 2 sons Philip and Felix and a daughter who was not born till 6 months after his death who became my grandmother. In Canada he left his brother Feliz and 2 sisters named Angelica and Zowa, no names on his parents.
