Birth: Dec. 23, 1922
Erie County
New York, USA
Death: May 7, 1992
Miami-Dade County
Florida, USA

Jimmy and Wally were twins.

The day that Jimmy was born, the doctor handed him to his oldest sister, Inez Dorothy Baumgarten, and told her that her mother was going to need her help and Jimmy was hers to help raise...and so she did. It was only fitting that when he passed, his ashes be interred with his honorary mother.

Jimmy served with the 740th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion for three years during WWII and then attended New York State College for Teachers at Albany, where he received his B. A. and M. A. in English. He was the chairman of the English department at the Monroe-Woodbury School and was a delegate to the House of Delegates of the New York State Teachers Association.
