Russell E. "Rusty" Blontz, 34, of R.D. 2, Box 268, Williamsburg, died unexpectedly at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1992, at his home. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Bom Oct. 26, 1957, at Fort Belvoir, Va., he was a son of Mylin E. and Violet M. (Luke) Blontz, He married the former Lucinda M. (Souile) Taylor on Aug. 20, 1988, in Williamsburg.
Surviving are his wife, at their home; his mother, of Williamsburg R.D. 1; and a daughter, Jennie M. Taylor, at home.
Also surviving are a sister, Betty L. Aurandt of Williamsburg R.D. 1; a brother, Mylin Edward "Ed" Blontz Jr., Duncansvillc; and three nieces. Mr. Blontz attended the Williamsburg Church of God.
A 1977 graduate of Williamsburg Community High School, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served from 1977-85 in West Germany.
Mr. Blontz for the past four years had been employed in the maintenance department at New Beginnings at Cove Forge, Williamsburg R.D.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Williamsburg, with Msgr. Thomas K. Mabon and Pastor J. Darryl Crawford officiating. Interment will be in New St. Joseph's Cemetery, Williamsburg R.D.
