Eliza's son was Albanus Arthur.
While her blacksmith husband traveled to the Mexican War and goldfields of California, Eliza and her son Albanus lived with her parents, John Sr. and Margaret, and then her widowed mother Margaret. Later, Eliza's ummarried sister Margaret lived with these Arthurs in Montgomery County near Germantown.
In 1865, Eliza joined her widowed mother Margaret and sister Margaret in adult baptism into Grace Episcopal in Philadelphia.
After Albert Arthur had returned to Montgomery County PA in 1879, he died in 1900 just a few weeks after the June 1 census was taken, and is buried in Philadelphia National Cemetery.
In the 1910 census, after Albert and Eliza Redifer Arthur had died, her unmarried sister Margaret Redifer still lived with nephew Albanus Arthur, presumably until her death in 1920. Albanus -- evidently the only child of Albert and Eliza -- was a farmer. In the 1930 census he was in his 70s, living with the Clark family.
Eliza's other brother, John Jackson Redifer, had a son named Albert Arthur Redifer, seemingly named for Eliza's husband. Albert Arthur Redifer eventually inherited the J.J. Redifer shoe last company, parallel to the S.S. Redifer shoe last company run by Eliza's brother Simon and inherited by Simon's son Andrew Perry Redifer Sr. Both of the companies existed until the 1920s.
