BUSH, Michael - son of Rose Kenny Bush; Simon Kenny was his uncle.
Michael Bush aged 65, of Ocean, of this county, was found dead this morning at the home of Reuben Eaton on Wineow Street. Investigation by the County Coroner resulted In the conclusion that death was due to natural causes. Bush had been a sufferer from miner's-asthma and according to Eaton and others had been drinking. Eaton said he took the man off the streets at 2 o'clock this morning while Bush was intoxicated and put him to bed in his home. Bush, apparently all right, arose after several hours and went to the place of Thomas Litten adjoining and ate breakfast. He then returned to Eaton's quarters. His money, $19.60 and his watch had not been disturbed. Bush was fairly well dressed and he wore the button of the United Mine Workers.
According to Eaton, Bush had been making periodical visits to that section for the last 10 years. He would come well-dressed, gradually spend his earnings and then return to the mines in overalls to work, only to repeat the visits when he had acquired another pay for his labor. Bush was a bachelor and lived alone following the death of his aunt Dolly Kenny [Simon Kenny's sister] , a relative with whom he boarded. He was outside mine laborer. A brother, Michael [probably his brother Thomas since this is Michael's obit] Bush, was killed in a mine accident at Ocean, with three others, some years ago. Peter Bush, brother, is a mine foreman at Ocean.
