William H. "Bill" Derrickson, 84, of Seaford, Del., pased away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake, Salisbury, Md.
Born in Millville, Del., Derrickson retired from DuPont Co. in Seaford after 40 year as a production planner. He was a member of Millville United Methodist Church and associate member at St. John United Methodist Church in Seaford.
Derrickson was preceded in death by his parents, Handy and Ethelyn (Hudson) Derrickson; daughter, Denise Derrickson; and a daughter-in-law, Vanessa Derrickson. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia H."Pat" Derrickson of Seaford; two sons, Jody Derrickson of Clarksburg, W.Va., and Jed Derrickson and his wife, Teresa of Millville; two grandchildren, Alex Derrickson and his wife, Sommer and Tedi Derrickson.
A graveside service was scheduled for July 30, 2012 at St. George's Cemetery in Clarksville, Del. Arrangements were by Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, Del., through which condolences may be sent online at www.hastingsfuneralhome.net.
