From Family Group Records compiled by Marvin E. Lamar.
After her marriage to William Henderson Fyke, they moved to Austin, Texas and lived near the State Hospital on 42nd Street close to Cam Mabry. They had five children.
Sometime after the children were born, they bought a farm close to Budda, Texas. W. H. had always wanted to farm. Later, they bought a farm in Bell County, Texas, west of Belton, in Nolan Valley.
After her husband's death, Mary moved to Fort Worth, and later to Weatherford.
According to oral family history and her obituary in the Weatherford Daily Herald, Feb 15, 1944, she lived with her son, Dr. Edgar Douglas Fyke, for many years and passed away at his home/hospital in Weatherford.
