Phebe's grandmother was Phebe Chapman and the Chapman line extended back to Robert Chapman and Ann Bliss in th 1600s in Middlesex County, CT. On 6 MAR 1852 in Illinois, John Golden Married Thankful Whitney Cartwright. By 1860, John Golden was residing in Knox County, Missouri with his children Lewis, Louisa and Perry and son John and his wife Zerelda Ann Payne Golden.
