Brief funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. A.R. Shirey, in Zelienople at 8 o'clock last night over the body of the late Mrs. Catherine Burkett, age 74, widow of the late William H. Burkett, who died in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Shirey at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Mrs. was born July 25, 1843, near Salem, Clarion County, and spent her life in that vicinity. At the early age of 14 she was united with the Reformed Church and was a consistent church member all her life. Although she had been ill for several weeks, her death came as a shock to her friends and relatives. She is survived by the following; Mrs. A.R. Shirey, Zelienople, William Harmony, Edward, New Bethlehem, Mrs A.H. Fisher, Evans City, Mrs. Hobbart Leonard, Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Jeanette, Franklin.
