WAUPUN - Barry M. Balgie, 60, of Waupun, died on Friday, June 1, 2007, at his home.
Barry was born on Feb. 25, 1947, the son of Donald and Beverly (Beernink) Balgie.
Barry entered the U.S. Army in 1966, where he served in the Vietnam Conflict. He married Jane Krejcha and they raised their family in Waupun. He was sales manager for Home Contractors and Supply Co. of Waupun, for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 210 of Waupun.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Beverly Balgie, Waupun; three daughters, Jenny (Chris) Lucas, Menasha, Jill Blagie, Alaska, and Beth Balgie, Appleton; one son, Michael Balgie; four grandchildren; five sisters, Chris (Randy) Balgie, Waupun, Carol (Bill) Ninnemann, North Carolina, Sue (Dennis) Preuss, Illinois, Mary Jo (Kevin) Winn, Waupun, and Cathy (Steve) Vande Kamp, Green Bay; two brothers, Fred (Nancy) Balgie, Waupun, and Tom (Lynn) Balgie, Waupun; many nieces and nephews.
