Margaret Ann Albers, 83, Meta, died Thursday at St. Marys Health Center. She was born Feb. 17, 1913, in St. Thomas, a daughter of Joseph and Johanna Leven Twehause. She was married June 24, 1944, in St. Louis, to Conrad E. Albers, who died Sept. 2, 1985. A homemaker, she attended St. Thomas Catholic School and the Kern School in Osage County. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, St. Thomas; the St. Ann's Sodality; and the St. Thomas Quilters. Survivors include: two sisters, Elizabeth Boeckmann and Sara Ann Wieberg, both of St. Ann. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. The Rev. Don Antweiler will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Buescher Memorial Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas Catholic Church." [JCNP, 09/22/1996]
