GREENSBORO- Mrs. Katie Weeks Ham Hensley, 91, of Friends Homes Guilford, 925 New Garden Rd., died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Moses Cone Hospital. A private family burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Park in High Point. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 3 at First Baptist Church Chapel.
Mrs. Hensley was a native of Rocky Mount where she attended Benvenue and Rocky Mount High Schools and where she graduated from Carolina School of Commerce. Mrs. Hensley moved to Greensboro in 1955 and joined First Baptist Church in 1956.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Ham and her husband, Dr. J. B. Hensley in 1993.
