Evaline Zimmerman VanDyke
"Last Saturday evening occurred the death of Mrs. William VanDyke, a former and well known resident of this town, but now of Scranton, at the State Hospital of Scranton. Death was due to gastric ulcers. The deceased lady is survived by her husband and one son Henry and the following brothers and sisters of this town: Silas and Henry Zimmerman, Mrs. Alice Wolfe, Mrs. Dolly B., wife of William Freeman, and Mary Morrissey. The obsequies arrived here yesterday afternoon and were taken to the home of the deceased's sister, Mrs. William Freeman, of Cherry Street, from where the funeral will be held. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with services at the home of Mrs. Freeman by Rev. D. W. Bicksler, pastor of the Christ Reformed Church. Interment will be made in the Shupp cemetery."
NOTE: Evaline's first husband was Henry Berger. Second husband was Charles Chamberlain. Her last husband was William James Vandyke. Her parents were Henry and Ann Huffman Zimmerman.
