Mabel was a gentle, gracious, loving person with a marvelous sense of humor, who loved caring for others, whether while working at Clark County Hospital as a nurses aide and doing x-rays or welcoming with hugs, laughter and always a meal all who came to her home. Her love of people, singing and playing her organ and enjoyment of growing things and sharing with others enriched so many lives. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Vancouver for many years as church soloist, choir member, active in Ladies Aide and helping with the school needs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman following 63 years of marriage. her brother, Delbert, Caryl, Robert and sister, Elease Kight.
