Anne/Annie Devine was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Devine of Ireland. According to her death certificate, she was born in 1935 (other records have her born in 1944) in Ireland. She came to the US in approximately 1958. She was married to Elbert Freeman Hoag, and they resided in Pennsylvania, where there children were born. Annie was the mother to Frank and Euphemia. The family moved to Minnesota. By 1900, Annie was widowed. She died in 1920, and was laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery with her daughter (Euphemia Hoag Holley), her son's first wife (Augusta Fogel Hoag), and granddaugter (Mabel Hoag).
