Lewis William "Sonny-Boy" Copsey of Charlotte Hall, Maryland died at Gladys Spellman Nursing Center in Cheverly, Maryland. He was born at Horse Landing near New Market, Maryland to the late Helen Mae and Lewis Arkon Copsey. A life long resident of St. Mary's county, Mr. Copsey attended the little red schoolhouse in New Market. He owned and operated a diner in Charlotte Hall and later became an auto mechanic. In addition to his parents, Mr. Copsey is preceded in death by three nephews and one niece. He is survived by his sisters Virginia Elizabeth Oliver of Mechanicsville, MD and Peggy Joan Latham of Chaptico, MD; brothers Richard Allen of Mechanicsville, MD, Robert Edward of Waldorf, MD and David Thomas Copsey of Charlotte Hall, MD. Pallbearers are David Thomas Copsey, Jr., Edward David Oliver, Martin Eugene Latham, Francis Latham, Dana Hefner and Bret Reed.
