Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen), Germany
|Death: ||unknown, USA|
Freda Sprock was born in Oldenburg, Germany, in 1903, but never knew her homeland well, as at 6 months of age she emigrated with her parents and family to the United States, arriving through the port of Baltimore, Maryland. They settled in Burlington, Iowa.
Her parents were John O. Sprock (Sr.) (1869-1938) and Marie (Brunssen) Sprock (1866-1946).
Her other older siblings were John Herman (1896-1960), Emil (1897-1988), Anna (1900-1986), and Gustav Sprock (1901-1959).
One child in her parents' family was born after 1900 and died before 1910, probably as a newborn or infant. William "Willie" (born 1905), Esther (1908-1992), and Harry Sprock (1912-1983) were Freda's younger brothers and sister.
Freda's marriage to Floyd Brumm was held at the home of her parents in Burlington June 29, 1932.
Freda was living as of 1946, deceased by 1983.
