Peter was the son of John and Mary (Valleu) Benson. Peter and my 3rd Great Grand Aunt Sarah Wood were married in 1837 and had five children -- Rebecca, Cornelius, Caleb, Richard and Mary Cecelia Benson.Cornelius Benson, married to Vallie Johnson, died in Missouri, USA, in 1901 - place of burial currently unknown.
