Jodie Alice was born at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, New York on July 20, 1957. She was the second child to Joseph and Barbara Cronin. She grew up in Bay Shore and graduated from Bay Shore High School in June 1975.
Jodie married Michael Grasso and together they had a son Michael Joseph and a daughter, Michelle Anne.
Jodie had a long courageous fight against lung cancer that metastisized throughout her body. Her one wish was to see her grandson be born. Henry Muio was born in January 2014 and spent many days in his grandmothers arms.
Jodie was a huge Boston Res Sox fan. She also liked gymnastics, track and field and tennis.
She leaves behind her son Michael, daughter Michelle Grasso Muio and grandson Henry Muio. In addition her sisters Barbara Cronin Chanda, Joanne Cronin Kelley and Joy Cronin. Jodie also leaves many nieces and nephews who also mourn her.
