On a peaceful Thursday evening of August 9, 2012, our Bud was called Heavenward into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Ronald W. (Bud) Ham was 78 years old. He was born on May 13, 1934, in Lansing, N.C., to Orrin and Hazel Ham, as the fourth of six children. He later hailed from Roanoke and from the Boones Mill area of Franklin County.
