MRS. JNO. CARROLL CLAIMED BY DEATH
Succumbed at 9:55 o'clock Last Night at Her Home, 718 Cheyenne Street.
Adeline Carroll, 49 years old, wife of John Carroll, died at 9:55 o'clock last night at her home, 718 Cheyenne street, after an illness of only a few days. Ptomaine poisoning was the cause of her death. Mrs. Carroll was well known in this city and has many friends, who will be grieved to learn of her death.
Besides her husband, the surviving relatives are a son, Marshall [son from first marriage to Enoch Radford, who died Apr. 24, 1891], and five sisters, Mrs. Elmer [Rebecca Ann "Annie"] Hanks, Mrs. William [Jennie] Chambers, Mrs. Eva Ridge, Mrs. George [Tabytha "Vina"] Bynan, and Mrs. Dobert [sic; Robert] [Anna] Seeley, all of this city.
No funeral arrangements have been made.
