Carl M. Colvin, 60, died unexpectedly at 2:15 AM Saturday at his home, a half mile south of Huntington on the Lancaster Road, after a serious illness of about two hours. He had been in ill health about two weeks.
He was born Augut 20, 1889, in Huntington County to Evan and Florence Colvin. He married Stella Saul March 7, 1921. She died June 21, 1949.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul Stickler, Gas City, and two sisters, Mrs. George Knight, Dora, IN, and Mrs. Wilbur Sherry, Benzonia, MI. Two brothers, Frank and Earl, preceded him in death.
Mr. Colvin was employed at the Western Rock Wool Company in general maintenance work.
The body was removed to the Bailey mortuary where friends may call and where services will be held in the chapel at 2 PM Monday with Elder Gordon Watson, Wabash, officiating. burial will be in the Lancaster Cemetery.
