Bill J. Johnston

Bill J. Johnston was born November 19, 1939 in Ryan, Oklahoma to W. C. "Dub" and Cletis V. English Johnston. He passed from this life Friday, September 26, 2014 in Waurika at the age of 74.

He and Barbara Clark were married October 31, 1959 in Byers, Texas. He was a Ironworker for over 30 years and a farmer and rancher all his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Waurika. He loved working on the farm and especially enjoyed working his grandchildren and sons in law on the farm. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife Barbara of the home in Waurika, children - Suzie Chambers and husband Billy of Holliday, Texas, Karen Lopez and husband Albert, LeaAnn Bradford and husband Steve, Karla Parker and husband Bryan all of Wichita Falls, Texas, sister - Janice Fieldgrove of Buffalo, Wyoming, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Tommie Ann Skelton.

Funeral service will be Monday, September 29, 2014 at 11:00AM with Bob Harrison and Noel Curington officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to the Church of Christ in Waurika.
