Leonor C. Hernandez, age 82, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at her residence.
As per her wishes, her body will be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Leonor was born on April 11, 1932 in Camp Wood, Texas to Genaro and Gregoria (Beltran) Carrillo. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish (Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church). She was a homemaker. She was a resident of Sweetwater for four l/2 years coming from Sonora, Texas.
She is survived by three sons, Esiquio Galindo, Jr. and wife Nellie of Rock Springs, Texas, Errbey Galindo and wife Grace of Sweetwater, Texas, and Genaro Galindo and wife Carmen of Belton, Texas, two daughters, Elsa Gunter and husband James of Sweetwater, Texas, and Domitila Garza and husband Ray of Sonora, Texas, twenty two grandchildren, forty three great grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren, four brothers, Frank Carrillo, Sr., Andres Carrillo, Tirso Carrillo, and Johnny Carrillo, two sisters, Marta Cruz, and Geneva Ramon , and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Genaro and Gregoria Carrillo, husbands, Esiquio Galindo, Sr. and Tomas Hernandez, one son, Alfredo Galindo, one daughter, Susie Gomez, granddaughter, Belinda Galindo and numerous brothers and sisters.
