During her stay in Leavenworth, Mrs. McClurg lived on North Eleventh street, and had a wide acquaintance in the city. She was born October 6, 1854, in Jackson County, Kansas. Besides the daughter at whose home she died, Mrs. McClurg is survived by four other daughters, Mrs. Nellie Starks, St. Joseph, Mo.; Mrs. Vina Iseral, Axtel, Kas.; Mrs. Rosie Bomberger, living near Potter, Kas., and Mrs. Louise Hall, Delaware Township, south of Lansing. One grandchild also survives. The body is at the Davis Funeral Church where it will remain pending funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for Catherine McClurg will be held from the Davis Funeral Church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, the Rev. F. J. Schadt officiating. Burial will be in Mount Muncie cemetery.
I visited this cemetery and there is no stone/marker for Catherine.
